Vaginal pH testing is a laboratory test that assesses the acid-base balance of the vaginal microflora. Normal vaginal pH protects against pathogenic microorganisms and maintains a healthy microbiota. Changes in pH may indicate dysbiosis, infections, or inflammatory processes.
Indications
