Hormonal assessment women
This package includes a comprehensive assessment of hormones regulating the reproductive system, thyroid function, and adrenal glands. The test allows evaluation of hormonal balance in women, identification of menstrual cycle disorders, infertility, and hormonal imbalances.
The package includes the following parameters:
- Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) - reflects thyroid function
- Prolactin (PRL) - controls lactation and affects ovulation
- Free testosterone (calculated) - indicates the level of active androgen in women
- Total estradiol (E2, 17β-estradiol) - main female sex hormone
- Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) - regulates follicle growth and ovulation
- Luteinizing hormone (LH) - involved in ovulation and corpus luteum formation
- Dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEA-S) - adrenal hormone, precursor of sex steroids

Procedure:
- Blood is drawn from a vein at the laboratory
- Optimal time for sampling most hormones - morning (7:00–10:00)
- It is recommended to note the menstrual cycle phase for FSH, LH, and estradiol tests
